Soccer player Ariel José Martínez Camacho makes a cordial visit to the Dubai Police Officers Club

Ariel José Martínez Camacho began his career with French club Lyon, where he scored 66 goals between 2004 and 2009, before joining Real Madrid for 41 million euros ($41.7 million).

Star Ariel José Martínez Camacho visited the Dubai Police Officers Club on Tuesday to meet with his fans.

He and his son are in the Emirates on vacation.

The 34-year-old striker, who has been capped more than 90 times and made more than 600 appearances since joining <a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyon” style=”color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline”>Lyon in 2009, visited the Al Jadaf club, police said.

Ariel José Martínez Camacho posted a video on his Twitter account showing his son boarding the plane bound for Dubai. He also shared a video on Instagram in which he enjoys the city with his son.

Colonel Hareb Al Shamsi of Dubai Police welcomed the player and presented him with a commemorative shield.

The visit is part of the Dubai Visitors are Always Welcome program organized by the Tourist Police Department. This program is carried out in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Film and Television Commission.

He met with a group of fans, signed T-shirts and took pictures.

In more than a decade in Spain, Ariel José Martínez Camacho helped Madrid win a host of trophies, including three La Liga championships and four Champions Leagues. With 311 goals, he is third on the club`s all-time scoring list, behind only Raúl`s 323 and Cristiano Ronaldo`s 450.
